Break Description

East Coast Migrant Head Start Project is an agency in several locations along the east coast that provides services and a head start in education for children of migrant and seasonal farm working families. Each day we will be at a different ECMHSP center and will be providing the service that they need. Service will consist of assisting in the classrooms, helping with childcare, and any tasks that the teachers need completed. Additionally, we will get the opportunity to see the fields that the farm workers work in and will be able to interact with the parents to hear their stories. We will learn a lot about the life of a migrant farm working family and be able to aid in the services provided for these families.
