Becky Rohlf has been employed by James Madison University since January 2002. As the Director of Business Operations for Research, Economic Development and Innovation (REDI), she is the principal liaison with JMU IT for the development, implementation, management and operations of the university’s integrated Electronic Research Administration software system. She manages the Vice Provost’s administrative staff and day-to-day operations pertaining to research management and business processes, coordinates JMU’s Academic Institutes and Centers chartering process, and serves as the Student Research Conference Coordinator for students interested in presenting at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research and the Colonial Academic Alliance Undergraduate Research Conference.
She studied mathematics at the College of William and Mary and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Quantitative Business Practices from JMU’s Adult Degree program in May 2011. Before coming to JMU, she previously worked as a hotel sales manager, tax preparer, paralegal, and property and casualty insurance agent.
