Writing and Rhetoric
Students pursing a concentration in writing and rhetoric will complete the concentration's depth requirement by declaring and completing a minor of the student's choice. Students should consult their adviser before declaring a minor in order to determine which minor best complements the concentration while also meeting the student's interests. The concentration will appear on the student's transcript.

In addition to the core requirements for the WRTC major, writing and rhetoric concentrators will take 18 credits from the following list, of which 3 credits will be WRTC 220, Rhetorical Traditions (taken by the first semester of the junior year), and of which 12 credits must be WRTC courses. No more than three hours may be at the 200-level and at least three hours must be at the 400-level.
