On-Campus Jobs
FWS students provide assistance to academic, administrative, and service-oriented offices throughout campus. Valuable work experience can be found in a variety of environments. Existing skills can be improved and new knowledge can be gained. Students, for example, may serve as Career Information Specialists, Inventory Assistants, Office Assistants, Administrative Assistants, Financial Assistants, or as Art Gallery Assistants.
Off-Campus FWS Community Service Positions
Employment opportunities are available with
Community Service agencies. FWS students may be performing family literacy activities, serving as a reading or math tutor, or providing services in health care, welfare, social services, neighborhood improvement, public safety, crime prevention, recreation, rural development and community improvement. To be eligible, a student must meet all the criteria for the FWSP as well as be willing to work off-campus.
