JMU ON-CAMPUS
- Student Wellness and Outreach (includes former Women’s Resource Center (WRC))
Student Wellness and Outreach was created in the summer of 2008 combining the Office of Health Promotion, Office of Sexual Assault Prevention, Women’s Resource Center and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Education Program. This office is centrally located on the fourth floor of Warren Hall, Room 404.
- Safe Zone
Safe Zone provides education on issues related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (lgbt) identity in addition to providing a support network for lgbt students, faculty, and staff.
- Faculty Women’s Caucus
The Faculty Women's Caucus works for the civil and human rights of women on the James Madison University campus, and in all ways possible to further the cause of women.
- Madison Equality
Madison Equality, which has been around since the 1970's, is JMU's support community for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students. The primary mission of the club is the promotion of tolerance and acceptance through education and awareness. Anyone supportive of equality and queer rights is welcomed regardless of orientation.

- National Organization for Women (NOW) Harrisonburg/JMU
The purpose of the Harrisonburg/ JMU NOW is to promote and mobilize members and the outside community about feminism, women's rights, diversity, economic justice, reproductive justice and other social progress issues through education and direct actions.
