• America's Junior Miss Scholarship Program For college-bound high school girls. Several awards of varying amounts are available each year for female students participating in a number of contests.

• Bank of America Scholarship For junior and senior high school students who are able to participate in an 8-week internship program in Washington, D.C. Dollar amount and number of awards varies.

• Burger King Program A scholars program which offers scholarships from $1,000 - $50,000.

• Coca-Cola Scholarships Over 1,400 students are supported every year, for a total of $3.5 million. The scholarship is worth $25,000 and multiple awards are given each year. Minimum GPA of 3.00.

• Horatio Alger Association For students who have demonstrated integrity, perserverance in overcoming adversity, strength of character, financial need, a good academic record, and a desire to contribute to society.

• Elks National Foundation, Inc. Elks is offering the 2016 Most Valuable Student Contest. Follow the link for an application.

• JFK Profile in Courage Essay Contest High school students write an essay on a certain topic with a chance to win up to $10,000. See link for topic information and more.

• LendEDU They are offering a $2,500 scholarship for college-bound students who answer the essay topic of, "How do you plan to avoid excess student loan debt?" See link for more details.

• Weird Scholarships A website created by a current college student to help find unique scholarship opportunities.

• ScholarshipGuidance.com A website designed to match high school students with scholarships for which they might be eligible. Check the website frequently as new scholarships are added daily.

• Prudential Emerging Visionaries Award A scholarship for a “top youth volunteer” in grades 9 - 12. To be eligible, you must have been involved in a volunteer activity in the past year. There will be one winner of $1,000 from each state.

• QuestBridge National College Match This program helps outstanding low-income high school seniors gain admission and scholarships to many colleges.

• NAEHCY Scholarship Two scholarships worth $2,000 will be awarded to students who are homeless or who have been homeless during their K-12 career.

• The Better Business Bureau's Student of Integrity Award BBB has awarded over $136,000 to 158 student through this scholarship!

• Allen Allen Allen & Allen - 15 Scholarships a year for $1,500.

• Early Ace Scholarship - $7,000 scholarship for students interested in majoring in science, engineering, or business.

• VBA Bank Day Scholarship Program - Students shadow a banker for a day and then write a scholarship reflecting on their experience with the possibility of winning one of thirteen scholarships of varying sizes.

• Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts Education Foundation - $1,000 scholarship awarded for students interested in the fields of natural resrouce conservation and environmental protection.

• Waynesboro Players Lillian Morse Scholarship - Scholarship for students intereseted in pursuing the performing arts in high education.

• Ella G. Agnew Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship for students interested in pursuing a career in nursing or in a field related to a medical profession.

• Booker T Washington Alumni Association Scholarship - $2,000 scholarship across four years.
