Just Breathe...Stress is Manageable!, Course # HR1005

Feeling crazed and stressed a little too much lately? Maybe it’s time you took some time to just EXHALE. The physical and emotional effects of stress can create positive or negative feelings. Everyone is different and we each have different levels of what can be described as optimal stress. When we move beyond our optimal stress levels, our ability to manage stress can be diminished and we find it hard to keep our lives balanced. This creates “wear and tear” on our bodies, minds and emotions.

To maintain our health, we need to reduce the stress and/or improve our ability to manage it. This workshop will provide information about identifying the stressors in our lives (like you need help, right?) and provide tips for managing stress. A strong emphasis will be placed on relaxation techniques, so wear loose, comfortable clothing and be prepared to stretch out on the floor.
