Office Administration Essentials
Course# TD1056

Have you ever been making copies of exams or reports for an important meeting and hear the worse sound an Administrative Assistant can hear at the copier…SILENCE?! It is equally as frustrating to have other office equipment cease to work. What do you do? Planning is the key to navigating through unplanned events. Come share your strategies with others who have experienced the same situations.

Some might argue the point, but it is a proven fact that filing is the most important task any of us will ever do in an office! Whether electronic or paper, could someone find their way to important project documentation and files if you are called away from the office unexpectedly, for an extended period of time? Do you leave big footprints in your files so your co-workers and supervisors can handle your workload if you win a trip to Maui? In this segment of the training, you will hear about different ways of storing information so that it is safe, yet accessible to those who need it when they need it. (formerly HR1056)
