The School of Theatre and Dance is located in the Estes Center portion of the Forbes Center for the Performing Arts. (Click on the upper-left region, the Bluestone area, of the campus map to find us: (jmu.edu/map). For information on how to obtain a visitor parking permit for the day click here.

We in the School of Theatre and Dance look forward to seeing you during one of the published school visitation days, and/or at program auditions. Please contact the School of Theatre and Dance at least 24-business hours prior to your visit to place your name on the list for your desired visitation day. Walk-ins may not be able to be accommodated.

Dance Program Visitation Dates

The following schedule has been established for prospective students to visit the School and facilities during the fall and spring semesters of the 2018-2019 academic year. Selected Mondays (please see schedule below), starting at 9:00 am, in the Forbes Center for the Performing Arts (please meet in the Theatre and Dance main office suite on the second floor, room 2211). The information session is followed by the student watching or taking the Intermediate Modern Dance class from 10:10 – 11:25 am as part of their visit!
