Around 13- 15 students are hired to staff Taylor Down Under. When there are positions open on the staff, it will be posted on the Student Work Experience Website. The hiring criteria for the job are as follows: 1.) Quality presentation of application to include legibility, neatness, completeness, and attention to detail. 2.) Knowledge and demonstrated involvement in the JMU community via past job experience and club associations. Knowledge of the off campus life of students and the City of Harrisonburg a plus. 3.) Demonstrated customer service experience. 4.) Technical ability and/or experience with recreational events and equipment as well as with sound equipment helpful! Demonstrated interest in arts and entertainment a plus.
