Total Workshop Time: 90 Minutes

Pre-requisites: None.

Description:

Want to eat healthier, exercise regularly or be more productive at work? The critical element to success in any of these areas just might be understanding how habits work and how you can change them based on current habit science research. Highly successful people don't always start out with more good habits than the rest of us, but they often learn to transform their habits to get them where they want to go. Come explore the interplay between cues, routines and rewards, and learn how to harness the strength of this simple, yet powerful, model.

This workshop is based on content from the book, The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business, by Charles Duhigg.

In this workshop participants will:

  • Explore some of the current findings in the area of habit research
  • Learn a model for habit transformation
  • Identify one habit area they would like to transform and begin creating plans for habit transformation
