Description:

Have you thought about saving for retirement? Are you saving enough today for your future? Are you taking advantage of all FREE retirement money available to you?

October 15-21 is National Retirement Security Week (NRSW). This class will provide an opportunity for you to think about, revisit or update your personal retirement strategy and determine if you are on track for establishing a secure future. 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Why retirement saving is so important and when you should start
  • Learn about Supplemental Retirement Plan offerings that you can participate in
  • VRS Hybrid members can learn more about voluntary contributions to the defined contribution component of their plan
  • Interact with our ICMA-RC representative, the record keeper for the 457 plans
  • Learn about FREE on campus financial advising opportunities
