Note: This workshop is capped at 16 participants

Total Workshop Time: 2 Hours

Pre-requisites: None

Description:

This thought-provoking workshop uses a video that explores the lives of three clown families as a metaphor. Watching these families deal with discrimination within their own society stimulates poignant and critical discussion of the value and dilemmas of cultural identity and heritage in society, while pointing out the harm of racial-ethnic stereotypes and workplace bias that exists in organizations.

The participant will discover:

  • How biases create stereotypes and barriers
  • The need to unlearn the language of bias
  • Negative outcomes of bias filtering out the truth
  • Embracing and celebrating diversity
