Description:

Benefits Bootcamp is geared towards the role a supervisor plays regarding an employee’s benefits. Supervisors will gain an understanding of each benefit and their responsibilities regarding their employees.  In addition, supervisors will be made aware of what steps to take to make sure their employees are getting the most accurate information. 

Topics covered in the two-day course include:

  • Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Virginia Sickness and Disability Program (VSDP)
  • Leave
  • Workers’ Compensation (WC)
  • Americans with Disability Act (ADA)
A certificate of completion will be awarded upon completion of both sessions.
