The Synthesis Support Center (SSC) is an organization that was developed in association with the National Park Service. Its purpose is to help support the information management needs of National Parks in the southeastern states. In addition to telephone and online support for Synthesis, the center also provides these additional services:

• Electronic document conversion
• Data conditioning
• Tutorials and teaching
• Data administration
