Some people make their own
clothes or food; I enjoy making my own music. I use an unfinished
room in my basement as a recording studio where I make multi-track
recordings of original music and covers of my aging-hippy musical
mentors.
I have lived my entire life (48 years so far) in close proximity to
mountains: the Rockies, the Smokies, and now the Alleghenies and
Blue Ridge. I prefer a broken horizon.
The English Major in me comes out to play in the 3 (so far) books
I've had published about higher education. I'm not concerned about
running out of material, but I may have difficulty continuing to
come up with titles for the books (e.g., "Metaphors, Semaphores and
Two-by-fours;" "Fables, Labels and Folding Tables" "Listen Very
Loud").
I've been blessed with a wonderful wife, three beautiful daughters,
a warped sense of humor, and a passion for student success. God's
grace continues to amaze me.
