10 Tips for If You're Falling Behind on a Course

Evaluate your own performance and identify your weak areas. |

Get lots of help from your instructor; show him or her that you're trying. |

3. |
Schedule more study time for your weak course(s) and stick to it! |
|
4. |
Get a "study partner" who you get along with (but won't spend all your time socializing!) |

5. |
Call the Counseling and Student Development Center at ext. 6552 for their academic skills workshops, |
|
6. |
Cover up the TV until you're back on track... If you can't see it, it won't be as tempting to watch. |

7. |
Check the bookstore or even the Internet for study guides. |
|
8. |
Find someone who aced the course and talk to them about how they managed it. |
|
9. |
Find a friend or acquaintance who will tutor you for a while (or at least proofread your work). It's really helpful if they took the course already. |

10. |
Hire a tutor! |
