| Job Description | Playground supervisors and directors are needed to work the 2008 Rockingham County Summer Playgrounds program. Duties include planning, implementing and supervising a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities for elementary-age children. The program runs Monday - Friday, beginning June 9th and ending August 8th. A mandatory 3-day (paid) training workshop will be held between May 19th and June 6th. Students majoring in elementary education, physical education, or recreation and sport studies are urged to apply. | ||
| Candidate Requirements | Must be at least 18 years of age, and possess a reliable means of transportation. | ||
| Number of Hours Per Week | 35-40 | ||
| Specific Hours for Position | 7:30am - 6:00pm | ||
