| Job Description | General Counselors - Oversee program activities and daily routines for a bunk of campers (there are 2 to 3 general counselors per bunk). Waterfront Counselors - Teach swim lesson to small groups of campers. Lifegaurd ceritifcation is not required. Challenge Counselors - Those with strong interest in or experience with low and high ropes courses, outdoor activities, etc. Specialty Counselors - Music, Drama, Arts & Crafts, Wood Craft, Cooking, Ceramics, Athletics. Educational Counselors - Work as specialists in our Reading Center or our Science & Discovery center. Health Center Positions - RN's, LPN's, EMT's, and nursing students. |

| Additional Information | Ramapo for Children, founded in 1922, is a nationally recognized, non-profit residential program which annually serves over 1,700 special needs and at-risk children from early childhood through adolescence. Conducts an on-site college course (6 credits) that can be credited in one of the following disciplines: Education, Special Education, Educational Psychology, Therapeutic Recreation, Group Dynamics, Outdoor Recreation, Physical Education, Recreation, Camp Counseling, or Community Service. |
