STUDENTS:

  • Mark your calendars: Thursday, September 18th is the On- and Off-Campus Part-Time Job Fair. It will be held from 1:30-4:00 in the Festival Ballroom. Come learn about part-time job opportunities available to you at JMU and in the surrounding area!

  • SUPERVISORS:

    • Please note that students will not receive their official Financial Aid Award Letters until mid-July. Students will find out if they are eligible for Federal Work Study at this time.

    • NOTICE: Effective July 24, 2008, the federal minimum wage will be increased to $6.55/hr. Any student working over the summer and earning below the new rate will automatically be adjusted to the new rate effective July 24, 2008.

    LOCAL EMPLOYERS:

    • Student Employment will be hosting a Part-Time Job Fair on September 18th. More information including registration and cost for the fair will be coming in the next few weeks.
