Avotek, a leading supplier of aviation maintenance training equipment, is now accepting resumes/applications for a part time Electronics Assembly Technician. 

We are looking for detail-oriented, highly motivated, team players who are willing to learn and may have any of the following background/experience

Must have bench type electronic testing and assembly education/experience

Must be able to solder through hole components, surface mount components, and wires onto connectors

Comfortable working at a fast pace on some projects that require repetition

Must be able to follow instructions as outlined for assembly, testing

Must work well with fellow production team members

Must be willing and able to work overtime

Must be motivated, ambitious to work in an environment geared toward building quality, American-made products

Mechanical ability to use simple hand tools, drills and files

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Assembles minor mechanical builds following specifications and using hand and/or power tools.

Inspects units to detect defects or malfunctions, and adjusts, repairs, or replaces component parts to ensure conformance to specifications using standard work methods.

Confers with Team Leader or Engineering to plan and review work activities and to resolve production problems.

Cleans work area and shop floors as needed or assigned

May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency or not related to this classification on occasion.

Cross train into other skills sets in order to facilitate flexibility in production
