Environmental Stewardship in Action At JMU

Assess the feasibility of obtaining 25% of JMU’s energy from renewable sources by 2025.

Develop a plan to reduce campus electricity consumption.

Develop a plan to reduce fossil fuel consumption by university vehicles and mobile equipment.

Produce renewable energy by using the elliptical machines at UREC that have been specially outfitted to produce electricity.
