As stated in the Environmental Stewardship Action Plan, JMU will:

Develop a plan for sustainable grounds, where sustainable may be native, naturalized, reforested, or ultra-low maintenance.

Increase employee adoption of environmental best practices.

Increase the percentage of continuing students who report that heightened environmental awareness led to changes in behavior.
