Bridging the Valley: A STEP Ahead for STEM Majors

James Madison University has partnered with Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC), Bridgewater College (BC), Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), SRI Inc., and the Shenandoah Valley Partnership to address the challenges of building additional STEM major enrollments and retaining students to program completion. The National Science Foundation awarded the partners nearly $1.5 million to meet this goal.

  • VCTM Conference - March 2010
    The 2010 Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics  Conference will be held at JMU March 12-13, 2010. The conference is for PreK-12 teachers and supervisors of mathematics as well as those engaged in teacher education of PreK-12 teachers of math. Proposals to speak at the conference are due by Oct. 15, 2009. The proposal form can be found at: http://www5.rockingham.k12.va.us/vctm/proposal.html.
