Bio

Kelly joined the Social Work Department in 2016 after joining JMU as an Administrative Assistant in the Donor Relations Department in 2010. Kelly has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from James Madison University, with a minor in Paralegal Studies. She spent 11 years as owner of Downtown Titles, Inc., providing title examinations and real estate related research to local law firms in the Shenandoah Valley and to online banking services. Prior to owning a business, she freelanced and worked as a paralegal for Wharton, Aldhizer & Weaver, Litten & Sipe, Hoover-Penrod and other attorneys in the Shenandoah Valley. She enjoys JMU football, working with the local community and is an Elder at her church. Kelly lives in Rockingham County with her husband, Pat. They have three boys.
