Social Work Major: B.S.W. Degree Requirements
The minimum requirements for the Bachelor of Social Work degree is completion of the General Education requirements, 42 semester hours of core social work courses plus elective hours (6 semester hours of which must be in social work) for a minimum total of 120 credit hours. Curriculum for the BSW Program is guided by the Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards of the Council on Social Work Education.
