James Joseph Hart Memorial Scholarship

An endowed scholarship established in memory of Dr. James J. Hart, professor of Psychology.
 

Dr. Eileen S. Nelson Endowment for Psychology Scholarships
 Criteria:
     Need Based? No
     Freshman Only? No
 Information:
An endowed scholarship, the Eileen S. Nelson Endowment for Psychology Scholarships will provide funds annually to an outstanding senior majoring in psychology who is in his or her second semester of thesis work. The Scholarship will be presented for the final semester of the student's undergraduate work. The appointment of a student as a Nelson Scholar shall follow the University's guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
 

Leann Whitlock Psychology Memorial Scholarship Fund
 Criteria:
     Need Based? Yes
     Freshman Only? No
 Information:
An endowed scholarship in memory of Leann Whitlock established by Zeta Phi Beta. This scholarship will provide a source of funding for academic scholarships to attract and retain underrepresented students (e.g., first generation college student, geographic diversity, merit scholarships, etc.) whose talents, skills and abilities enable them to enrich the James Madison University community. The annual scholarship recipient shall be selected from only undergraduate and graduate JMU students who have declared psychology as their major at JMU.
