Robert J. Daly '82 Scholarship Endowment for Hospitality & Tourism Management

 Information:
An endowed schoalrship established with a gift from Robert J. Daly '82 to create the Robert J. Daly '82 Scholarship Endowment for Hospitality & Tourism Management, which will provide financial resources annually to one or more students (up to a maximum of four students at any one time) entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must (a) have a declared major in Hospitality & Tourism Management; (b) have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) after at least four semesters of study (at the time the student is considered for this scholarship); and, (c) demonstrate a need for financial assistance, as determined by the University's Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. The selection of Robert J. Daly '82 Scholars shall be made in a manner determined at the discretion of the program director for Hospitality & Tourism Management in the College of Business. Beyond the above criteria, the appointment of a student to receive this scholarship shall follow the University's guidelines for the awarding of scholarships. When a student is appointed a Robert J. Daly '82 Scholar for the student's junior year of undergraduate study, the scholarship may be renewed for the student's senior year of study, provided that the student remains a full-time student in good standing with the University.
 

Jesse E. Daniels Hospitality/Tourism Management Scholarship

     Freshman Only? No
 Information:
An endowed scholarship established in memory of Jesse E. Daniels, a member of the H/T Mgmt Industry Advisory Council and VP Human Resources at Marriott, to provide a scholarship to a deserving JMU student majoring in H/T management.
 

Donald L. Kohlenstein Hospitatlity & Tourism Management Endowed Scholarship

 Criteria:
     Need Based? No
     Freshman Only? No
 Information:
An endowed scholarship established by Thomas Jackson in memory of Donald L. Kohlenstein. Through this scholarship, funds will be provided annually to an outstanding junior or senior majoring in Hospitality Tourism Management with a grade point average of 2.75 or greater. The student recipient, chosen by the scholarship committee within the College of Business, will be selected based on their academic performance, their experience in the hospitality industry, and their demonstrated community leadership.
 

Sanzenbacher Scholarship

 Criteria:
     Need Based? No
     Freshman Only? No
 Information:
An endowed scholarship for Hospitality/Tourism Management students established by Dr. Reginald & Diane Fourcar-Szocki. Recipients are selected by financial aid from recommendations by the HTM department.
