Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship named for Dr. Joanne Pearson honoring her twelve years of service to JMU and the dietetics program. The scholarship is intended to benefit a JMU student in the dietetics program, with preference being given to a student who is experiencing financial difficulty. The student may be an entering freshman, an undergraduate, or graduate student. The recipient must complete a scholarship application and be selected from other applicants by the faculty of the program of Dietetics. In addition, the recipient must maintain satisfactory academic progress. This scholarship will be administered by the program of Dietetics within the Health Sciences department.
