Madison Screenwriting Scholarship Fund
An endowed scholarship established by Donald E. and Kathryn W. Rhymer. The scholarship is intended to benefit a junior or senior student of the Schools of Media Arts & Design, English or Theatre who has expressed an interest in film screenwriting. To qualify, the candidate must submit his/her composed short film script of approximately twenty (20) pages to the Dean of Arts and Letters who will select the scholarship winner. The scholarship will be available for the recipient's junior and senior years by remaining in good academic standing. All expendable income that is available each year must be awarded, but not to exceed tuition, room and board, and educational fees of the university. When sufficient expendable income becomes available a second student will be selected. Additional selections will be made following the above procedure.
