Help the SV SBDC continue its mission to advise, train, and inform small businesses to help them achieve success.

The Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center depends on financial contributions of individuals, businesses, and organizations within the community to provide needed support for our free-of-charge services to the small business community.

Federal funding from the Small Business Administration is conditional and requires that we match no less than 50 percent of their funding with cash contributions. James Madison University and Blue Ridge Community College provide substantial monetary support as well as facilities, furniture, equipment, and technology to host the two offices of the SV SBDC.

You can help us continue to offer free counseling services to businesses in our service region. The Advisory Council was formed in 1996* to increase the effectiveness of the
Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center by utilizing the knowledge

Shenandoah Valley SBDC Volunteer Program:

Volunteer counselors represent a cross section of experienced business professionals from around our service region. SBDC Volunteers provide assistance to the Center's clients in the following areas: Accounting, Business & Strategic Planning, Business Financing, Marketing & Sales, Cash Management / Forecasting, Insurance, Web Design & Marketing, Technology concerns, Legal Issues, Taxes.
