May 23: Generations at Work
Successful employee retention means understanding the concepts of Generational Conflict Management. The problem is not with the younger workforce. We Boomers have to accept the fact that although we have practical management experience, we must share this knowledge with our youth in a way they can relate to and embrace.
By the year 2012 there will be 15% fewer employees in the 35–45 year old age group than there are today. At the same time, the need for quality 35–45 year olds will increase by 25%. Do the math! The ability to attract & retain a quality work force of all ages must be our top priority.
Presenter: Rod Hooper. Rod is the founder & facilitator of The Team Builder's Workshop, providing training, counseling and consulting for employee retention.
Coming Up:
June 27: Using the Media
July 25: Connecting with Your Customer
