Telecommunications Response to Emergency Phone Outages

Whenever an Emergency Phone outage is reported during normal business hours, a Telecommunications technician will be dispatched within 8 business hours.

If the outage is reported outside of the normal business hours of the Telecommunications Department and more than 12 hours will elapse before the start of business hours, a sign or tag will be placed on the instrument to indicate it is out of order.

Whenever possible, the next available technician will be dispatched to all emergency phone problems. Parts will be maintained to insure rapid repair or replacements.
