Bomb Threat Evacuation Procedures

If the circumstances dictate, the building will be evacuated.

  1. The building involved will be evacuated by energizing the Fire Alarm System.

  2. The occupants of the building should move to another area approximately 300 feet from the reported location of the bomb.

  3. Upon the completion of the evacuation, all doors on the building in question should be locked to prevent entrance.

  4. If a time of detonation was give by the "caller," be sure all personnel are cleared from the building not less than 30 minutes prior to the time stated for detonation of the bomb and remain clear of the building 30 minutes after the time stated for detonation.
