On Campus Assistance

Public Safety Emergency Communications Dispatcher On campus, any hour, dial ext. 6911. Uniformed campus police officers are on duty 24 hours per day. Additionally, neighboring agency police help is readily available through a Mutual Aid Agreement from the Harrisonburg Police Department and the Rockingham County Police Departments.

Maintenance Operations:

1. Maintenance Supervisor Business hours, dial 6101/6102. After 4:00 PM and weekends, dial 6911.
   
   
2. Skilled workers are available from the Office of Facilities Management at all times during normal working hours and on short notice at other times. They are capable of providing the following emergency services:
   
   
   1. UTILITIES: Repairs to water, gas, electric and sewage systems.
      
      
   2. STRUCTURES: Repairs to structures equipment therein, including heating, cooling and mechanical systems.
      
      
   3. EQUIPMENT: Portable pumps, generators, floodlights, welders, air compressors, tractors, backhoes, forklifts, etc..
      
      
   4. TRANSPORTATION: Sedans, light trucks, dump trucks and tractors.
