Scholarships and Financial AssistanceArmy ROTC Scholarships provide opportunities for financial aid for education to qualified and motivated young men and women who desire to serve as commissioned officers in the US Army after graduating from college. There are a number of different programs to consider for paying for college while learning valuable leadership skills. ·The Army Four Year Scholarship Program is designed for incoming freshmen that apply for a four-year scholarship while in high school. If awarded, the student receives full tuition and fees, as well as $600/year for books. In addition to tuition and fees contracted cadets are given a monthly stipend of $250 that increases to $400/month by the cadet's senior year. To receive more information on this program navigate to the Cadet command website at http://www.goarmy.com/rotc · On Campus Scholarships are 2 year or 3 year scholarships awarded to students on a competitive basis. Students receive full tuition and fees, $450/year for books, as well as the monthly stipend. · Green-to-Gold Scholarships offer assistance to enlisted soldiers who decide to leave active duty and attend college full time. Quality enlisted soldiers with officer potential who have served at least two years on active duty are allowed to voluntarily request discharge from active duty, and enroll in Army ROTC to earn baccalaureate degrees and commissions as second lieutenants. This means that we have dedicated scholarships for nursing students. Incoming freshman or students already on campus can apply for the PNE scholarship and receive the same benefits as a regular scholarship. Upon graduation, the nursing student will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.
