Description: IS 490 is offered from 5-8pm on Tues or Thurs nights, open to Freshman and Sophomores. This course covers leadership topics and the outdoor adventure skills such as Paintball, Rappelling, Self Defense, Weapons training, and completing an Obstacle Course. Upper-class students may be eligible to enroll once underclass registration has been completed. Department Consent Required. How Can I Sign Up? If you would like to register for IS490, please e-mail CPT Lesley Kipling and provide the following information: Full name, Student ID, Year group/expected graduation, and whether you have a preference for the Tues or Thurs class. If you are unable to obtain a seat in IS490, you may want to take either MSCI 100 or MSCI 201.

Description: MSCI 100 is offered from 2:30 to 4:30 on Wed or Thurs and is open to all students. This is the outdoor adventure lab. This class is also a great opportunity to learn new skills, be a part of a team, and gain confidence, this class includes the activities listed on the front. There are no out of class assignments for this class.

Description: MSCI 201 meets for 50 min twice a week. This class is open to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. This leadership seminar gives students the opportunity to improve their public speaking, leadership and teambuilding skills. The class examines a variety of aspects to leadership and helps students determine which leadership techniques work best for them.
