Our Mission

The Office of Research Integrity (ORI) promotes a culture of compliance, research integrity, and high quality research within the University community.

The ORI is responsible for monitoring regulatory changes and recommending institutional responses to ensure compliance, and oversees the development and implementation of policies, procedures, programs and educational activities which satisfy federal, state and institutional regulations governing the research ethics and the responsible conduct of research.

What We Do

The Office of Research Integrity works with the University community to provide a variety of services related to research integrity and compliance by:

Services
  • conducts presentations on various topics related to research ethics, IRB, and IACUC;

  • assists with preparation and submission of materials for review by compliance committees (e.g. IRB, IBC, IACUC);

  • conducts one-on-one pre-submission consultations; 

  • conducts Post Approval Monitoring for animal subjects research; and

  • provides access to educational resources for RCR training.
