Colonial Academic Alliance logo

Date/Location To Be Announced

MISSION: The Colonial Academic Alliance facilitates collaboration and communication across member institutions, engaging faculty, staff, and students in meaningful initiatives that challenge the status quo, enrich the academic environment, and advance student success.

The CAA conference brings together student representatives from the 10 Colonial Academic Alliance (CAA) institutions to present their scholarly and research endeavors to a gathering of their peers. The conference is an opportunity for students to share their work with their peers in a professional setting. Participants represent an array of disciplines from the traditional sciences to the humanities, fine arts, social sciences, and professional schools. Attendees also have opportunities to hear a high-profile keynote speaker and to gather information about graduate school admission and career preparation.

Application Process for NCUR 2018

The deadline for submission of the JMU Student Application for Presentation is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017.

STEP 1: Application

APPLICATION SUBMISSION:

  • Incomplete or late submissions may not be considered. Complete submissions will include both the Student Application and the Faculty Statement of Support. Submission of an application does not guarantee JMU funding to present at either conference.
