Organization

To achieve our mission, we have strategically organized a diverse array of programs into four sectors: Academic Programs, Economic Development, Research and Innovation, and Centers and Institutes. These four sectors provide the knowledge and expertise to enhance the focus areas of the JMU Research Agenda: Health and Life Sciences – Biotechnology; Homeland Security – Critical Infrastructure Protection; Emerging Areas; Education Reform in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; Accountability and Outcomes Assessment; Alternative Energy – Environmental Science; Nanotechnology – Materials Science.

Here you will find links to the offices of Research and Public Service, along with an overview of each strategic sector.
