Outreach for You

If you're like many of us, you don't want to wade through a lot of other material to get to the stuff you want on the web. In this area of the EDPP website, you'll find links to outreach programs, units and projects that have been specifically selected for people with different types of interests. Many of the same entries appear in more than one category because they may appeal for different reasons. If you feel that one of these categories describes you, take a look and see if this is a useful way to browse our site and learn about outreach activities at JMU. If not, you can browse through the same material arranged in different ways in our "Resource Library" section.

Shenandoah Valley Partnership

Business Leaders:

Do you own or manage a business? Do you do economic development work? Are you looking for a service that a JMU unit might be able to provide? Do you want to find a way to get your M.B.A. while working full-time? Are you looking for ways your employees can update their training? You'll find links to these kinds of resources and more at JMU in this section.

Public Sector Leaders:

Do you help run a state or local agency? Are you an elected official or volunteer in one of the Shenandoah Valley's towns or cities? Can JMU's EDPP help you get the job done? Is there a crucial piece of information we can provide for you? In addition to helping find a particular answer or piece of data, the EDPP is a dynamic resource for learning, for partnering and for services for the government community in the Valley.

Non-Profit Leaders:

Are you the director of a small non-profit with few employees? Is there a program, a unit or a faculty member at JMU that can help you in the day-to-day effort to fulfill the mission of your organization? Do you need the kind of information resources our library system can help with? Do you need the expert consultation of the University's faculty and staff? In this section, you'll find a collection of links to the web sites at JMU that you might find particularly useful and interesting.
