Mission and Goals

Mission

The EDPP exists to serve Shenandoah Valley communities and economic development professionals and organizations including: local, regional, and state economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, university-based outreach programs, and national and state-level economic development organizations and agencies.

Goals

Our goals include:
* Increase the awareness and accessibility of the university resources
* Increase the awareness on campus of regional and state issues and concerns
* Expand campus outreach in economic development
* Facilitate collaboration between campus and Virginia business and industry
* Apply resources to enhance strategic planning and development within the Shenandoah Valley
