Holly Wade has been a member of UREC since 2006 and is the Coordinator
of Group Fitness and Wellness. She trains Group Fitness Instructors,
oversees Group Fitness classes and programs, and manages the Massage
Holly was born and raised Nebraska. She went to the University of Nebraska to get her Bachelor’s (Advertising) and Master’s (Athletic Administration) degrees. Before working at UREC, Holly was a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer at the University of Nebraska’s Campus Recreation Center and has 17 years of experience. She is a current member of NIRSA (Intramural-Recreation Sports Association) and IDEA Health and Fitness Association. She is certified by AFAA, YogaFit, STOTT Pilates and licensed by Zumba and The Groove Method.
Holly has two little nephews named Camden and Bryce whom she adores. Outside of UREC, she likes to read, practice yoga, hike, and track Husker football, volleyball, and baseball. She also has interests in art and health and wellness. Her favorite quote is, “Do or do not, there is no try,” compliments of Yoda. Holly’s favorite activity to participate in at UREC is yoga and she enjoys the pro and student staff here at UREC most.
