UREC 205

Dan joined UREC in 2015 and is responsible for Intramural Sports programming, managing the Intramural Site Managers, and coordinating Inclusive Recreation programming.

Dan graduated from Florida State University with an undergraduate degree in Sport Management and the University of Iowa with a graduate degree in Recreational Sport Management. While at FSU, Dan was heavily involved in the Intramural Sports program, where he was exposed to NIRSA. Through NIRSA, Dan has attended over 30 extramural tournaments and continues to enjoy meeting new people and having an impact on students from all over the country. He officiates football and baseball on the high school level.

Dan is originally from Ft. Stewart, Georgia but was raised in a military family and has lived in 10 different states. He enjoys rooting on FSU as well as the Chicago Cubs, Georgia Bulldogs, and Washington Redskins. Dan also enjoys movies, anything outside, and considers himself a science nerd. His favorite thing about UREC is the amount of different opportunities provided to make a positive impact on students.
