Amy is pursuing a Master's degree in Sport & Recreation Leadership with a concentration in Campus Recreation and is expected to graduate in May 2020. 

She obtained a B.A. in Communication Studies from James Madison University in May 2018.

During her undergraduate studies at JMU, Amy was heavily involved in UREC, working as a Marketing Specialist, Member Services Assistant, and Operations Supervisor. She is a recipient of NIRSA's 2018 William N. Wasson Student Leadership & Academic Award.

In her free time, Amy enjoys exploring Harrisonburg and the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. She's loves cooking, watching movies, working out, and finding fun ways to stay active.
