Nora is pursuing a graduate degree in Campus Recreation Leadership and is expected to graduate in May 2018. She was born and raised in Northern Virginia and received her B.S. in Computer Science from Eastern Mennonite University (EMU).

While at Eastern Mennonite, Nora played both varsity basketball and soccer. Her favorite part of being a dual-varsity athlete was not necessarily playing the sports, but the lifelong friendships built and the memories created. When she wasn't playing soccer or basketball there was a high probability that you would find her at Chick-fil-a.

In her first year in the campus recreation field, Nora become a NIRSA member and has enjoyed meeting and learning from other campus recreation students and professionals from across the nation at various NIRSA conferences. She also enjoys the student interaction that she gets daily at work. Although she loved being a collegiate athlete, she deeply enjoys working in campus recreation where she believes, “Students don’t need to be a 6’0 All-American to be engage in campus recreation. All a student needs to do is be engaged, involved and passionate to thrive in this field.”

When Nora's not at work, you may find her working out, taking pictures of her food for the Snap (#ChefNora), or eating chicken. Her favorite quote is, “People will not care how much you know, unless they know how much you care.”
