UREC 251

David "Davey" Lee is pursuing a graduate degree in Campus Recreation Leadership and is expected to graduate in May 2019. Davey began his fitness career as a group exercise instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he earned his B.S. in Health, Physical Education, & Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. He specializes in teaching cardio and strength based classes such as HIIT and Bodysculpt. In the fitness center, you may find him frequently at the Motion Cage as he is a big fan of functional training exercises.

Some say there are only two things Davey loves in this world: his mom and buffalo style chicken wings. However, his interests extend past fried foods and working out. Outside of UREC, Davey is a hip hop dancer, sneaker collector, and history nerd. His favorite quote is: "Be ashamed to die until  you have won some victory for humanity.” - Horace Mann.
