Patrick is pursuing a degree in Sport and Recreation Leadership and is expected to graduate in May 2015. Originally from Midlothian, VA, Patrick served six years in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer and Martial Arts instructor. Following his military service, he attended Radford University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise, Sport, and Health Education in 2013.
During his time at Radford, Patrick was involved in the veteran’s student organization, the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club, and played Flanker for the rugby team. In his spare time, Patrick is active in the Rockingham Augusta Search and Rescue team, and enjoys resistance-training, martial arts, hiking, and going on adventures. Patrick believes in the philosophy “Exercise is Medicine.” – ACSM
