William Hagy
Will is pursuing a graduate degree in Campus Recreation Leadership and plans to graduate in May 2014. From Virginia, Will attended Bridgewater College and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Will began his outdoor adventures as a teenager when he started commercial raft guiding. His adventure work experiences have included stops with commercial whitewater companies from West Virginia to Colorado, experiential work with The Lab School of Washington DC, instructing with Outward Bound, and most recently work in Human Services as a Social Worker.
Will likes to be outside, spend time with his family and friends, and most especially combining the two. Will is a big fan of quotes, amongst his current favorites is this George Bernard Shaw Quote, “Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”
