The purpose of Madison University Student Grotto (Caving Club) is providing a safe and fun atmosphere for horizontal caving. This organization will all train and provide a safe atmosphere for vertical caving. Our club is about 15 to 20 members.

We have caving trips all year and we are in the Virginia Area Region (VAR) Conference.

No Tryouts! Membership requirements are paying dues, which are about $25 per semester and gas money for trips.

Meetings are 7:30pm Thursday nights in Godwin Hall. Trips go out Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday.
